DESTINATION: VIENNA - Scenic, old-world "walk-around" city with hi-tech conveniences, chic shopping and superior pastries.

HOTELS: HILTON - Two hospitable, well-located Hilton hotels; one facing a large park - 600 rooms, all services, excellent restaurant choices. The other, Plaza Wien, smaller, sharply attractive - located on the important Ringstrasser. Both score high points for business travelers and tourists. SIDE TRIP: GRINZING - 15 minutes from city center, step into the past - into this untrampled-by-time, picturebook suburb of Vienna. Happily, you will also find a plethora of charming restaurants serving typical Austrian fare at country prices.
OTHER ATTRACTIONS: abound within the city in close proximity i.e. SPANISH RIDING SCHOOL; HOFBURG (winter residence of the Hapsburgs ); ALBERTINA MUSEUM and the KUNSTHISTORISCHES MUSEUM (displaying the riches once belonging to the old empire); THE RATHAUS and, perhaps the SIGMUND FREUD MUSEUM (if you have a mind to) and the huge PRATER AMUSEMENT PARK(giant ferris wheel); many beer gardens, pools, golf courses and more!
